Alfa Laval is expanding its operations and the Product Pricing & Readiness team is now looking for an engineer to step into the role of Data Analyst. This role is suitable for you if you have strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in data analysis. About the role

As a Product Data Analyst in the GPHE Product Management team, you will play an extremely important role in shaping Alfa Laval's product strategy through data-driven insights, an area that is becoming increasingly important in today's society.

The focus of the role is to develop tools and analyses related to Product Management, where you will work with pricing and cost-related models as well as product data to support the decision-making of product managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own analytical reports and tools for the business unit.
• Conduct independent analyses to answer business questions and influence decisions.
• Proactively identify business opportunities based on data insights.
• Map and establish data governance structures to ensure data quality.
• Collect, clean, and maintain data from multiple sources (e.g., pricing, product, assortment).
• Provide analytical support to functions such as finance, sales, and S&OP.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a post-secondary engineering degree
• Has good knowledge of SQL
• Has good knowledge of data visualization, e.g., in PowerBI
• Has good knowledge of Python programming
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

• Previous experience in data analysis, preferably within a product or commercial environment.
• Previous experience working with AI tools
